Take a minute to go back in time. Remember what Fall used to mean? Remember sizing up that big pile of leaves that dad had just painstakingly finished raking into a perfect mound. Remember taking a running leap and diving in, tossing them up in the air, burying yourself (or your kid brother) in them, examining them, and just being in awe of all their different shapes, colors, and sizes? I bet you’d forgotten…..like I had. Until this weekend that is, when these two little explorers reminded of all the joys Fall had once held for me. I hope these bring as big a smile to your face as they did mine! And many thanks to these little ones and their family, for sharing this beautiful Fall day with me, and helping me to remember.
